Shipping Information

Domestic Shipping (Portugal)

  • Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days
  • All domestic orders are shipped via tracked and insured courier services

International Shipping (USA, EU, & UK)

  • United States: 7-14 business days
  • Other International: 10-21 business days (depending on destination)
  • All international orders include tracking and insurance
  • Shipping costs calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination

Packaging & Protection

We take special care in packaging all artwork to ensure safe delivery:

  • Prints are delivered in shipping tubes (depending on size)
  • Original paintings are carefully wrapped and cushioned in custom boxes
  • All packages include "FRAGILE - ARTWORK" labeling
  • Moisture protection included for all shipments

Taxes & Duties

Domestic Orders (EU)

VAT is calculated and collected at checkout based on your shipping address.

International Orders

Important: Customers outside the EU are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may be applied by your country's customs authority. These charges are separate from your order total and are collected by the shipping carrier or customs office upon delivery. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

For most countries, personal imports under certain thresholds may be duty-free, but this varies by destination. We recommend checking with your local customs office if you have questions about potential charges.

Processing Time

  • Prints: 1-3 business days processing before shipping
  • Original Artwork: 3-5 business days processing before shipping
  • Custom/Commission Work: Processing time varies (specified at time of order)

Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 2 PM on Friday will be processed the following Monday.

Returns & Exchanges

Return Policy

I want you to love your artwork. If you're not completely satisfied:

  • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be returned in original condition and packaging
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or defective
  • Custom or commissioned pieces cannot be returned unless there was an error on our part

Damaged or Defective Items

If your artwork arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging
  • I will arrange for return shipping at no cost to you
  • Replacement items will be rush shipped at no additional charge
  • Full refunds available if replacement is not possible

Return Process

  1. Contact us at hello@galeria-variegata.com within 14 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number and reason for return
  3. We'll provide return instructions and authorization
  4. Package item securely using original materials when possible
  5. Refunds processed within 5-7 business days of receiving returned item
